2016 Mutual Fund Tax Info for Self-Preparers & CPAs

It’s almost tax time!  We have gathered the links to information regarding bond mutual funds that may be useful to you as you file your Federal and state tax returns.  Remember, taxable bond funds that hold U.S. Government Securities may be exempt from state income taxes, but taxable on your Federal return.  Municipal bond interest is exempt from Federal income taxes and may be exempt from state taxes, depending on your state of residence. Included in this posting are links to the information that you or your tax preparer may need on the bond funds that you held in 2016.  As with most tax related information, please consult your tax advisor to determine the tax impact to you.
