Associate Financial Advisor
Why I work for Omega: Omega’s unique approach to financial planning that aligns your deepest values with your most ambitious financial goals resonates with the way I believe people should be treated. We focus on your life not your money. I’m very excited about being the newest member of the Omega team!
What I do here at Omega: As an Associate Financial Advisor, I am an initial point of contact for our clients, helping answer any concerns or questions. I also help prepare for meetings by working directly with our clients and their advisors to gather information about our clients’ vision and goals as well as financial data. Additionally, I serve as the coordinator of Omega’s financial planning efforts for our clients.
My educational background/experience: My educational background includes a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Accounting from The College of William and Mary and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Certification from Northwestern University. I became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional in June of 2016 after completing the experience requirements. My first job after college was as an auditor for Price Waterhouse. During the next 23 years moving around as an Army wife, I had a variety of paid and volunteer jobs—volunteer advisor with the IRS’s Volunteer Income Tax Advisor program; bank teller; Media Aide responsible for a computer lab in the local elementary school; volunteer treasurer for a variety of Cub Scout Packs; and Worship Leader at my church, among others! I’ve chosen a “second career” in financial planning because I believe that it is a culmination of my life’s experiences.
