Arlington National Cemetery Memorial Day Ceremony and Concert – About 5,000 visitors attend each of the two major annual remembrance ceremonies in the Memorial Amphitheater. They take place on Memorial Day and Veterans Day and are sponsored by the U.S. Army Military District of Washington. At 11am, a wreath-laying ceremony and concert will be held at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in honor of Memorial Day.
