Over 11 years ago, a former team and I knew that it would be important to change the name of our business from Kirchenbauer Financial Management & Consulting to something that would allow for multiple owners and provide a name that was closer to the real work we do. Having visited The Omega Institute in upstate New York for my first meditation retreat, I became familiar with the genesis of their name and saw it as an inspiration for our business’ current name.
“Omega” was taken from “omega point” which can be considered the point to which all life is evolving. If you Google the concepts, you will sometimes see swirling images that became the inspiration for our own Omega logo. That spiraling up towards a higher point is exactly what we seek to achieve through our financial life planning and transition management work. It’s not the end, but rather the beginning!
Our tag line of “integrating your values, vision & wealth” ties together the financial and life sides to the process that we use which can often lead to a much more meaningful experience for our clients. Sharing the genesis of a business’ name can be powerful and inspirational.
